The Calves Always Drink First
In commercial dairy, calves are frequently separated from their mothers immediately to maximize milk yields. We strictly follow the Dohan method. "Dohan" translates to reserving two teats for the calf and two for our use. The calf is allowed to drink its fill directly from its mother before any milking occurs. Happy, stress-free mothers produce superior milk.
Natural Grazing, No Hormones
Our indigenous Gir and Sahiwal cows are not confined to concrete stalls. They roam freely on natural pastures under the open sun. Their diet consists of organic grass, medicinal herbs found naturally in the fields, and clean water. We strictly forbid the use of synthetic bovine growth hormones (rBGH) or preventative antibiotics.
Retirement with Dignity
A cow's life does not end when her milk production slows down. In our partner gaushalas, non-milking cows are cared for for the entirety of their natural lives. They are revered, protected, and treated as family members.
